The year that was: 2021

The year that was: 2021  It's been one helluva ride this year for us, isn't it? From the 2nd wave of covid unleashing hell to Neeraj's gold-medal-winning javelin throw that infused 1.3 billion Indians with pride. This is not our standard motivational blog on the channel, but instead,  it's about the year which saw the Taliban taking over Afghanistan to humanity standing hand in hand to fight against covid and racism with Black lives matter taking the world by storm, here are some major events from 2021.   Vaccination: Saviour of the masses  As we started this year, vaccination drives started across the globe as a ray of hope, as a saviour to help humanity through covid. We are witnessing new variants of covid as we near the end of the year; however, vaccines have greatly reduced chronic and fatal covid cases. Nearly half of the entire world's population has been vaccinated.   Space tourism: A billionaire's space race Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos competed i

You Are Going To Die - The Best Eyeopener Advice

     You Are Going To Die

A blog On Human's Greatest Commodity.

The headline gives us a little sense of confusion and fear. In the first place, it doesn't,t seem to be a typical motivational blog but if you really understand the meaning of the headline, then only would you know the depth of the statement "You are going to die".

Before revealing human's greatest commodity,  I would like to thank you all for visiting the blog and subscribing to the blog site for future posts.

"Using social media for hours and then feeling guilty for wasting your time " sounds familiar? I am pretty sure that this happens to all of us a lot. So, What was your guilt all about? "It's about wasting your precious commodity and that is -Time". Now you got the idea that in this blog we are going to talk about Time which is our greatest commodity.

Time- All of us know the value of time and the wonders it can cause in our lives but "Do we really make the most out of it" or "Do we really respect our greatest commodity?" Most of the answers are not going to be affirmative. Stay till the end for some effective tricks to make the most of your time and the final conclusion.

Coming back to the headline and if you give it a little thought, then you would notice that it highlights the fact that we are not immortals and we have limited time or limited life, so why not make the most of it. Time flies by, It slips like the grain of sand from our hand, never to return. No matter, how hard you try, It's not going to stop anyway until and unless you are at the horizon of the black hole(pun intended). So, making the most of our time is far easy than it.

Here are some methods which would help you to make the most out of your greatest commodity -Time.

Don't go with the flow because only dead fishes do so.

The time is now:- "Have passion in something?" DO IT! Don't postpone your dreams for the sake of "What others think?", "I am not capable enough" and all of those lame excuses. Do take some calculative risks and remember never to go with the flow, have the will to oppose the flow, have the will to fight for your dreams and your dreams will fight for you.

Optimize your life

Make your priorities at the center of your schedule. Build a schedule around your priorities. Priorities can be anything from your hobbies to your work. It helps us because it makes us happier as we do things we love. Second, we are devoting our time to our passion and in that case, we are actually doing something which would come in handy in the future. After optimizing, it doesn't end there, you also have to focus on it and block your other distractions to follow that schedule.

Deathbed mentality

This is really a lifesaver when it comes to making the most of what you have? Every morning, ask yourself this question to yourself, "If today is to be my last day what actions am I going to perform to make it a memorable one." It also helps us in finding our priorities and customizing our lives. It was practiced by one of the most practical men of our generation - Steve Jobs. It also helps you to discover your unknown desires and wishes.

Be Time-sensitive

Realize the truth that you are not immortal and not going to live forever. You have a limited time span so try to make the most out of it. By asking you to be time-sensitive I'm not asking you to be a workaholic because "Yes, you have to be efficient your time but remember you also have o be effective with your relations."

Learn to say NO! - be aware of time stealers

Remember, Last time when you were so busy and one of your mates asked you to hang out and you were unable to refuse their proposal and later regret the time you wasted. It is better to say NO! now than to regret it later. Be aware of these time stealers, who do not realize the value of anyone's time.
Learn to say No!, No to things which are just some random Timepass activities and don't co-operate you in achieving your goals, No to those time stealers.

Practice Gratitude

You heard it right. It can work wonders for you and it can change your perception, by practicing gratitude Every Morning when you wake up, thank god for what you have and then you will realize the importance of Time. Moreover, gratitude helps us in improving every aspect of our life. It helps you to build a positive approach towards your life.

Balance It out

Last and most important,  while you are making the most of your time, please never forget the people around you. The people who were always there for you, the people who have always supported you in your bad times. By utilizing your time, it doesn't mean that you have to be a working machine, we are humans and we are run by varieties of emotions. We need Love, Care, and we need people who support us when life throws one of its curves towards us and that's when the "Art of balancing" comes to your rescue. Remember, "Journey is always more beautiful than the destination and the journey accompanied by some beautiful people is far more wonderful."
"Being a working machine makes you efficient with your time but with The Art of balancing, you become more effective with your life." The choice is yours.

In the end, I want to conclude that we should be time-sensitive and make the most of our time but never forget to follow the "Art of balancing" to become effective with our relations.

Your Life , Your Race

Run Your Own Race                                    Run your own race, Run at your own pace. Just a few days back when I was reading the book " The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari", I came across the term Run Your Own Race. Suddenly a memory of an advertisement flashed inside my head. The tagline for this advertisement was " Be the first you !" In this advertisement, you can see a group of students giving you the message that rather than being the second of someone else,  Be the first of you.  What do I mean by 'Run your own race'?   According to me, there are two perspectives to see this. First -Do not compare yourself with others. You're in charge of your own life won't be affected by someone else's opinion. Do not let the feelings like jealousy and hate decide your path and remember the only person you're competing with is You. Second -Every single person you know can only tell you " how to finish you

Walk your talk-The Story Of An Unbreakable Will.

WALK YOUR TALK             Your Talk Talks And Your Walk Talks,        But Your Walk Talks Louder Than Your Talk Talks. You may often cross paths with this term "Walk Your Talk" but what does it actually mean? It simply means your actions match your words but according to me there is a little bit deeper meaning of this term. People aren't going to follow your words but they are going to follow your actions.  To me, It's about one of the human's biggest assets and yet the hardest to achieve our "Will Power ". We all have this asset but hardly anyone considers its effects on our daily lifestyle. Talking of Will Power we can give each other numerous examples of how 'humans have achieved something extraordinary with it ' but then 'Why we give examples when we can be an example on our own?  'Will Power' -  It's our commitment and dedication towards our goals. It determines whether we ca
