The year that was: 2021

The year that was: 2021  It's been one helluva ride this year for us, isn't it? From the 2nd wave of covid unleashing hell to Neeraj's gold-medal-winning javelin throw that infused 1.3 billion Indians with pride. This is not our standard motivational blog on the channel, but instead,  it's about the year which saw the Taliban taking over Afghanistan to humanity standing hand in hand to fight against covid and racism with Black lives matter taking the world by storm, here are some major events from 2021.   Vaccination: Saviour of the masses  As we started this year, vaccination drives started across the globe as a ray of hope, as a saviour to help humanity through covid. We are witnessing new variants of covid as we near the end of the year; however, vaccines have greatly reduced chronic and fatal covid cases. Nearly half of the entire world's population has been vaccinated.   Space tourism: A billionaire's space race Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos competed i

How to cultivate the garden of your mind.

            Your Mind Is A Garden

"Your mind is the garden, Your thoughts are the seeds. You can either grow flowers or weeds."                           -William Wordsworth

These are the famous lines from William Wordsworth which signifies the importance of our mind and the thoughts which we put into it.
Our mind is the most lavishing garden one could feel in his entire lifetime. The mind is the king of our body. So, what you put in it goes into your body. It's a lavish garden, So it's on you whether you want to grow the most beautiful flowers in the world or the poisonous weeds.

Don't put any negative thought in this lavish garden, just be positive in every situation and always the brightest days comes after the darkest of nights.
The least of 60,000 thoughts comes in our mind in a day, So you should concentrate only on the thoughts which are positive and affect you and shouldn't let your focus be diverted by those useless thoughts.

Remove lust, greed, anger from your lavish garden as these 3 qualities are like poisonous weeds for you.
    Lust leads to unwanted desires.
  • Greed leads to a man of no moral grounds.
  • Anger makes you blind as it creates a feeling of hatred towards others.

Here are the tips which can help you to cultivate this garden of yours:-

Always spend some time in silence, as like you have to sleep for rejuvenating your body thus you also have to spend a least of 10 minutes for rejuvenating your mind. In these 10 minutes give your mind a rest and don't let your focus divert. Keep these 10 minutes only for yourself.

Whenever a negative thought approaches your mind, oppose that negative thought with a more important positive thought.

Set a goal and everyday project yourself working for your goals. In this way you allow you allow your brain to only focus on your goals and not on those unwanted thoughts.
Build a "NEVER GIVE UP" attitude because sufferings are always there, what winners do differently is they learn from their bad experiences and always develop a positive attitude towards life.

In the end, I wanna conclude that the mind is the best friend when you are able to control it.

The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your thoughts. So, only let the best of the thoughts enter in your mind.

Your Life , Your Race

Run Your Own Race                                    Run your own race, Run at your own pace. Just a few days back when I was reading the book " The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari", I came across the term Run Your Own Race. Suddenly a memory of an advertisement flashed inside my head. The tagline for this advertisement was " Be the first you !" In this advertisement, you can see a group of students giving you the message that rather than being the second of someone else,  Be the first of you.  What do I mean by 'Run your own race'?   According to me, there are two perspectives to see this. First -Do not compare yourself with others. You're in charge of your own life won't be affected by someone else's opinion. Do not let the feelings like jealousy and hate decide your path and remember the only person you're competing with is You. Second -Every single person you know can only tell you " how to finish you
